A 400 point drop in the stock market may seem to be a negative to you Pace, but most analyst have been expecting small % corrections because we are now entering historic records on economic growth and the stock market. Small corrections actually are very positive and indicate a longer sustained growth in value. Now if it continues to drop over a month and loses 10% of its value, this certainly would indicate it is more than a correction, and yes that would be a negative and would be fair game.

The dollar dilemma: One of the biggest problems companies face right now is the strong U.S. dollar. The euro recently hit an 11-year low of about $1.10 to the euro. It may sound good -- it's more affordable travel to Europe -- but it hurts U.S. companies selling their products abroad.

U.S. exported goods are quickly becoming more expensive -- and less attractive -- to foreign buyers.

I saw on TV that John Deere is laying off employees during February to cover the slow down in foreign demand for their tractors.....they cost more.

All the predictions of the fiat money and dollar collapsing by our astounding economic experts around here have failed at every turn, and the President has been doing such a good job of lowering the CAFE standards and getting this economy slowly back on its feet while setting records for deficit cutting all lead to too much of a good thing in the short term which will require corrections and today the 200 point loss will not be the end of it because the dollar will continue to get stronger as those foreign vehicles with foreign components become cheaper.....even if they are assembled in Alabama, Mississppi, or Illinois......there is going to be a huge spurt in consumer spending....higher revenue generation, and quicker deficit reduction.....Obama could hand Hillary a surplus.
