News flash.....ISIS has just taken hundreds of Yazidi women captive in the last few minutes.
information has come in from AP. The spokesman for Iraq's human rights ministry says hundreds of women from the Yazidi religious minority have been taken captive by militants from the Islamic State group.
Kamil Amin says the women are below the age of 35 and some are being held in schools in Iraq's second largest city, Mosul. He said the ministry learned of the captives from their families.

Not to be picky, but my understanding is these women were held captive as ISIS took control of the area, and many were fleeing up the mountain.
Reportedly, many of these women are being imprisoned in schools in Mosul.
I have a feeling ISIS has overplayed its hand badly, and is about to receive some severe backlash.

The same power structure of Saddham who completely eliminated Al Queda after they used them to the fullest extent. The Sunni power structure is using them to regain power. They know that at some point they will have to eliminate them. They have done this before. They will do it again. Useful tools which are totally expendable. The power remains with the Sunny Oligarchy and their wealth and control of oil. They wanted a bigger slice, and they were not getting the same from the political solution. However, now they have let the tiger out of the bathroom.......so they will be the ones who control the tiger.......the US will not be the ones who destroy the tiger.

Frankly, all this is giving me a familiar uneasy feeling reminiscent to the run up to the 2003 invasion.
Bunch of fucking hype and horror stories.
The MIC is beating mightily on the war drums, and I can only hope that Obama resists dancing to the rhythm.

Had Semi-retired President Barack Hussein Obama followed the advice of his military advisors in the first place, this would not be an issue today. But, relying on his vast military background as a community organizer and having chaired ACORN meetings he decided otherwise.

There were no Iraqis or Syrians on the hijacked planes that flew into buildings on that fateful day.
