They have had three Mig 19s crash in 7 months. First gen fighters at best and not even close to the Mig-21s that the nation of India has retrofitted to be more advanced ( Did a huge brief on them....totally obsolete). They barely get any flight time in each year and there's nothing left really to cannibalize for parts not made anymore. All of their avionics(Mig 19) is Rear Aspect acquisition at best on Mig -19s, little BVR training, and just a POS fighter that should be a airshows and not defending the country. What they do have is the IADS system from hell in multiple forms. Still, it won't last more than a few days without help from China which is the big ????????
