HomeHere goes. Is it just me or does the sun seem to be getting brighter year to year? I can remember back in the 80s before ozone depletion and all of the other stuff the sunlight seemed dimmer. Just a thought

We were at perihelion with the sun in 2013.
However I think we pay more attention to the sun than we used to because society plugs it into our heads, even subliminally.
The sun did recently go through a pole flip. It does that about every 11 years. And we have had from time to time some pretty nasty plasma balls tossed at us.
Or it could be those UFO's that have been up there feeding of fthe sun making it angry enough to fry us.

I don't know if the sun is brighter, but it's been hotter than Hades down here.
We've had over a week straight of heat indexes in the triple digits and no rain.
Very unusual.

Same here sal. Just got back from taking the dogs to the creek for playtime and I'm burnt to a crisp.
