Jeff Miller’s Primary Competition Xe12-010

I don’t know exactly where Mr. Krause stands on all issues, but it is refreshing to see Jeff Miller have some competition for a change. I will definitely be voting against Miller in the upcoming Republican Primary election.

It would be a bad move to vote for Krause.

I dunno. I am still a registered "R" but I know I won't support Miller for anything. I voted for the Libertarian candidate in 2012.

well I guess Jeff has one thing you agree on, same for me, He isn't a global warming dunce. To be honest I am not a he fan of his either, but I do agree with what he said about climate change.

I don't care for the huge stick it in your face religiousness of many of the tea party people, but they seem to be the only ones who will try and stop all this illegal immigration.

I don't vote for either of those because they are not in my district.

I don't think the tea partiers have a chance of winning.

Unfortunately I think you're right... the idea of shrinking govt is considered by most a radical and extreme position.

The problem is that our opportunity to make these decisions thoughtfully is quickly fading. When the debt/shit hits the fan the terms/cuts/taxes wil be dictated to us with very little leeway or latitude. It's simple enough to see this happening in numerous countries and currencies today... much less all of the declines of once great nations that litter history.

It really doesn't matter that you vote today to continue and expand entitlements... you're in reality voting for its demise.

We are stuck with miller like we were stuck with hutto all those years

You're stuck with Miller until Miller chooses to leave office or dies in office.
This is not like in Virginia where a tea party candidate unseated the House Majority Leader.

You need to understand that just one of our six military installations ALL BY ITSELF employs 14,000 people.
When you add up all the other DOD jobs (military and civilian) at the five other military installations,  the whole entire Northwest Florida economy spins off from that.  The other little sectors of our economy,  tourism,  health care and local government jobs,  all spin off from that in large part too.
Our Congressional District rises and falls on military spending.

It's not just the local politicians and business leaders who understand this.  So do the people.  They want to ensure they keep their jobs.  They know their jobs are dependent on this.
And enough of them know that if they vote in a freshman Congressman who has no influence in Congress, that it could make those jobs become less secure.

Ya'll can talk about all the other issues all you want.  You can prefer one candidate because of this issue and prefer a different candidate because of that issue.
But none of that makes any difference.

Therein lies some of the most blatant waste within the military budget. Fully half of those civil service employees could be furloughed without affecting military readiness one small bit.

Just one small example: In the 1990s, NAS Pensacola had an entire environmental department staffed with about 13 civilians, who had little training and or knowledge about how to do environmental cleanups. Thus, a contractor (my employer at the time) had to be brought in to manage and conduct cleanups of about 35 sites on that base that were identified and prioritized by EPA and FDEP for remediation--work ultimately that lasted about 10 years. The staff at the base were oblivious to what we did, and we had no interface with them the entire time we were there. Those folks needed to be fired from day-one.

You gotta love a guy who just wants to keep stealing to a minimum! This is the last paragraph of his pitch.

The crisis we face is not the result of any failure of the American spirit; it is the failure of our leaders to curb corruption and ensure government works for We the People instead of a selected few. If I am elected, I intend to regard your trust as proof that the people of Florida’s District One have decided to set a new agenda and recognize that fair, honest government thrives best when the stealing is kept to a minimum, honest services goals are set, and We the People realize the maximum return from the duly Constituted government set down by, of and for us all.

Ive always appreciated HONESTY. BLATANT HONESTY. A thing you don't see much.

Obviously he thinks he is talking to intelligent people who understand the GOV already steals our money via taxes that are given to people who do nothing for it and against our wishes, aka taxation without representation.

Did you see the part where he had 3 IRS audits? He never says the results. I'm sure to vote for somebody who couldn't manage his own business and personal finances. Let's all vote for John Krause, private investigator/former messenger of God now turned congressional candidate. He has the answers and needs a good paying job. He has no retirement and could use some financial favors if he gets in office. God help us! From the frying pan into the fire we go!

As long as we keep stealing to a minimum ...we'll be alright. Just the congressman can steal.

I have lots of juice on him. I went into the kitchen and when I came back the $5 was gone. He gave it back when I confronted him and said he was only kidding...he wasn't.

Now you've going from off the rails to downright hilarious. And you should learn to spell: borders, not boarders.
