When you can't compete in the realm of ideas, gerrymander districts and restrict voting as much as possible. Granted, both parties are guilty of this, but republicans dominate this area.

Yes they do, and the Republican-controlled government of Florida is currently being sued because it refuses to enforce the terms of the Fair Districts Amendment, which was passed by the voters in 2010. I hope the League of Women Voters win their case overwhelmingly.
