I read in a recent book that the invention of the flush toilet was the greatest medical advancement of the last 200 years.

I have done it for a week in Canada canoeing between remote lakes and portages which required carrying the canoes. The one rule when on an island is to establish which end is the bathroom and which end you draw your water.......you hope the last group through had the same rules.

We in the developed world often take for granted modern amenities that others don't have access to. Six hundred million people in India do not have access to toilets.

Proper sanitation using a toilet added 20 years to modern-man's average lifespan.

So are you proposing that we go to war with these people to end this practice? I mean, you are all for big government as a solution.
