They are trying to cover this up. Its probably why Pensacola got flooded.

Why would they cover it up?

It's the same thing we've known since the fall of 2012.

Three days after the attack, the White House didn’t have much information on what had actually happened and was casting around for an explanation it could throw out to the baying jackals of the press to keep them occupied for a few days while the various intelligence and law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation worked the case and get a more complete picture.

It’s called investigative work, and sometimes it is slow and painful.

Especially when the investigation is taking place across the ocean in a semi-collapsed petro-state with little infrastructure or government.

What else would you expect from someone whose title is “Strategic Communications Adviser”.

The worst part of the seemingly unending republican's effort to destroy Obama because of the disaster in Benghazi, is that most of us no longer give a shit.

The ambassador and his guards were killed in a terrorist attack. That's awful, but on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst White House mistake that caused loss of American lives, compared to, say, invading Iraq, Benghazi isn't even a 1.

Did the government fuck up by not providing adequate protection to the ambassador and his guards? Yes, surely.

Did the government then try to spin the situation? Sure. Every government we've ever had spun shit to look better. That's what governments do.

The facts are, what makes the Benghazi incident so profoundly important to idiots like Pacedog and Herr Markle, is their complete awareness they can't win an election by persuading African Americans or Hispanics, Women or college students that the world would be better run by a few bloodsucking corporations. And besides, a significant portion of the republican coalition doesn't want black or brown members anyway.

So, if you can't win the driver's seat by elections, you're left attacking the existing government by leaping on any available scandal, or by limiting the voting of the folks you can't stand anyway.

Reality.

Having overthrown and destabilized the country prior... cutting security was either naive or incompetent.

Neither of which were politically expedient just before an election... that's the fucking reality. It worked on most.

Terrorism was on the run alright... running roughshod over Americans.

Flat out lie and, what's worse, you know it is a lie. It took TWENTY MONTHS AND A COURT ACTION to have the UNREDACTED EMAIL released.

The most transparent administration in history has covered this up for going on two years and NO ONE has been held responsible.

This makes Watergate PALE by comparison.

This is, and always has been a major cover-up engineered by the President Barack Hussein Obama Campaign Committee.

Congress (translation: GOP members) cut funding for embassies prior to this event. This was not even an embassy, and was supposed to be guarded by the CIA (translation: Patraeus). It would take a person who's naive to think that an occurrence like this just prior to an election shouldn't be questioned in that light. The effing reality...the whole thing began with Bush's illegal and pre-emptive invasion of Afghanistan and then Iraq, in a blatant bait and switch and a need to cast blame on the "other" for the tragedy of 9/11. None of this holds a candle to what Bush did...not even close.

I read this book in 2004 so I could fortify myself to vote against Duby in the election that year.

No. This started with your blood soaked Nobel champion of peace carpet bombing a sovereign nation (Libya) without Congressional approval (War Criminal!) and not immediately withdrawing our embassies in said nation until a new government was established and approached us for the reestablishment of foreign relations (return of said embassies).

The only ones attempting to twist the truth here is the champion of change and transparency that you bah.h..h...hingly support.

It's telling that you so desperately want to change the subject and ignore the political cover up and lies.

I imagine it gets hard to ignore that little voice of reason telling you that your standards are corrupt and partisan.

The blood soaked Nobel champion of peace with the lead pane transparency policy of hope and change is probably causing processing problems in those liberal synaptic junctions... that is if there are any of that last item.

Eight years of lies. How long did it take you to realize your Republican president was a pathological liar?

Here's Joe Scarborough defending Bush's actions on 9/11. Talk about a "tell".
