The blood-sucking bastards who profit from disastrous exploitation of land and resources, are the types who think nothing of murdering anyone who gets in their way. Since these same bastards often own governmental leaders, they get away it.

Considering the rapid advance of earth-fouling commercialism, we may soon get to a place where non-violent environmental activism will have to be replaced with a more effective form of opposition. Or we all die.

How much suffering, physical and mental, must we take at the hands of humongous "we want it all and we want it now" corporations?

When the war starts, where will those corporate bastards hide?

Perhaps they should stop buying the products. You know... like energy, food, cars, computers... etc. Set an example.

Good idea. What should we do when the oligarchs make it legal for them to own all the air and water? The frightening fact is, some mammoth, bloodsucking corporations are already working on schemes to do exactly that.

And the governments they've bought are going along with the schemes.

The thing is, you let some pushy guy rob and rob and rob you until you've reached a limit you can no longer tolerate.

And then you do what's necessary to survive.

Yes we need cars and energy, food, etc. But just how much are we supposed to pay for them? I really hope you'll answer!

What are you defending here? The right of the ultra wealthy to destroy the environment, for fun and profit?

You don't think the people who profit from coal mining, fracking, or other resource enterprises that defile the planet need to be controlled?

Herr Markle will be delighted to sign you up with one of his brown-shirt cliques!

Only one of those deaths took place in the United States and it was deemed an accident.

I was an environmental professional for 16 years (environmental consulting), and came away with the notion that the U.S. has the most protective environmental laws on Earth. There is no conspiracy between government and corporations to allow us citizens to be slowly poisoned. The corporations we had as clients did not fight having to comply with regulations, and were more than willing to spend money to stay in compliance.

I also came away with the feeling that radical environmentalists are just weird. Their claims are often not based on sound science and their solutions are often very impractical.

You make good points here. But consider what fracking is doing to groundwater etc., and the vibrant campaigning being done by the oil companies to allow the continuance of the industry despite the serious environmental costs. People whose kitchen faucets emit water so infused with gases the stream can be ignited, are not being protected by the government nor the energy producers.

Do you really see these victims as weirdos?

We again come to where the rubber meets the road... access to our representatives which rigs the game.

It's perfectly constitutional to limit politicians and govt employees. That should be your cause... you're welcome.
