Hillary has a problem.  As a would-be President, you would think she'd have no trouble rattling off her achievements. Unfortunately for her, that's not the case. Her time with the State Department was unique only in so far as it was riddled with spectacular failures. While her shortcomings are easy to spot, positive accomplishments are virtually non-existent

I honestly hated Hillary Clinton in the mid nineties and when she ran for senate as a carpetbagging candidate. I knew she lied on her resume, and I knew how utterly driven she was in high school. However, all that has changed. I think she did reasonably well as a senator with one huge fail on her vote on the bankruptcy reform bill, but it was her hard work as SOS which turned me around. If people think that the last eight years of success in our foreign relations was solely based on the President, I think they are mistaken. I think Hillary had great support from lifers in state, and she bought into the process and enhanced the same. We have experienced the greatest stability in years because of the efforts of state and cia, in conjunction with realistic foreign policy goals and protocols which she helped develop. She brings more cumulative knowledge to the office of president than has ever been brought to that office. First, she shared the bed of the President for eight years and was an active part of the executive branch and not a traditional first lady. Her senate and SOS experience is just icing on the cake....she will win, and it is way pass the time that a woman serve this nation as president, and she is amply qualified, and from hate to admiration was a journey I never expected to take.

It's more than ignorant to say Hillary Clinton has no achievements. It's downright moronic.

lol!  That's true, but I would just like to hear one of these libs spout off some of her accomplishments. Not some copy and paste Wiki shit or a bunch of magazine subscription awards. Are they that fucking stupid that they cant name just a couple of positives in her entire career.?

Nothing? I guess you disregard awards from countries and organizations? You must not can read if you passed that by. I mean it's rather silly of you to make such statements when it's right there in front of your face. There's no point in conversing w/ somebody like that.

I can easily list her accomplishments. She was the first first lady who attempted a major policy initiative with health care reform. Her efforts were astounding in that no president in forty years had accomplished as much as she did, and even though her initiative ultimately failed, she provided the blueprint for the ultimate success of the ACA.

Now in regard to her tenure as SOS. It was stunningly successful. PK in his ignorance points to Libya as a failure. It was one of the greatest successes in American foreign policy in years. It was her coordination with CIA and coordination with NATO which helped the President achieve total success in Libya, and the success of democratic influences throughout the Middle East and democratic unrest in Iran and Syria is outstanding success. We are stronger today because of Hillary's efforts than if she had not served.

Sal

Sal

People who claim she was a failure at SOS simply do not understand her responsibility in that role.

She was a stunning success, especially after the foreign policy train wreck of the Dubya administration.

well at least heres a start. Failure on a project as first lady and an opinion refuting pkr's opinion. Anything else?

Presenting a weak image is hard work when you're from such a strong country. They've really excelled at it.

You're an effing idiot.

Libya? Where we allegedly changed sides in the GWOT?

http://www.dailypaul.com/317425/the-us-switched-sides-in-the-war-on-terror-in-libya-the-real-lesson-of-benghazi

Hillarycare failed.

The Mid East is out of control and Iran tempts us weekly. Hell, they shot at one of our drones not long ago.

Syria? We haven't removed one damn ounce of nerve gas and Syria just used that again on their own people.

Stronger than ever? Is that why Putin is doing what he wants in Crimea and Ukraine?
