Other than appearing politically correct, why is there any protest over Russia taking Crimea?

Face it, the Crimea's a jewel in Putin's crown -- and most of its inhabitants want more to be part of Russia than part of Ukraine.

In fact, they voted to become Russian.

So what justifies any outrage over Russia's move?

I'm all ears.
