Ahhh... tell me why God chose for you not to live in Syria and let other people suffer? I'd like to know.

In my faith in god, I agree with Einstein. God doesn't Play dice. I believe in the concept of Divine Providence. http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/providence-divine/
I do not believe man is micromanaged on one extreme, nor on the other that life is a simple dice game. I am quite comfortable in the middle. I am blessed to have been born in America.

Excuse my judgements but life is a simple dice game. Divine Providence is just a bunch of nonsense that tries to justify the lack of reality in the existence of God. People try to pacify themselves by believing they are more valuable in God's eyes by saying "if not for the grace of god". It's always been a saying that annoyed me and very prevalent in the south. You are know more blessed than the people in Syria are unblessed. Lucky would be a more apt description. We are lucky to have been born in the USA. Divine intervention had nothing to do w/ it... imo. You are certainly free to believe what you want, however, unrealistic, though. Yes, we are lucky.
