Yep, that's Ginni Thomas, wife of Clarence Thomas. You'd think a Supreme Court Judge's wife would know a thing or two about conflict of interest...but sadly, it seems more a case of "above the law". And Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote is a part of this...she's from my old stomping grounds. I was researching her b/c Teo apparently worships the ground she walks on...she's a rabblerouser all right... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Here's more on the "King Street Patriots", another of Mrs. Engelbrecht's spawn...apparently there were too many complaints about the group's poll watching...the new strategy is to take the message to the neighborhoods...that ought to work out well....ROFLMAO.

I agree that taking the house is improbable although most experts see a gain of about 10 seats. I think and will continue to predict that the senate will be a draw in 2014 with Biden getting the tie breaking vote, or one vote going either way.....it is going to be very close, but in 2016.......the democrats are going to sweep. The demographics are growing by the day to insure the same for the democrats.

PaceDog is keeping his fingers crossed that a GOP-controlled Senate/House will form in 2015 that will impeach/convict/remove President Obama from office.

The probability of this ever occuring is one in a trillion, however.

Great...what would you like? A return to the Bush days? Or someone like Romney, who's happy to steal everything that's not nailed down and put whole employment forces out of jobs?

actually I would like someone like Romney. you have a misconception about what Romney has done in regards to business. he takes failing businesses and makes them profitable. running the country is not much different from running a large business. I think id be willing to give Romney a shot considering how Obama has in fact been the one who has been terrifying businesses his entire term causing the country much grief.

Conflict of interest...would that be Justice Kagan voting on the constitutionality of Obamacare when she wrote the law herself....hmmm and as for ABOVE the LAW, the COWH seems to demonstrate that every day in office along with Eric Holder et al.

We have had a redistribution of wealth, all right - but it has been from the bottom to the top.

Corporate taxes and taxes on the wealthiest are the lowest they've been in 40 years - and yet that did not magically lead to jobs and prosperity; in fact, the result was the exact opposite. Regulations did not 'strangle growth' - instead it was the lack of regulation that led to the banks and Wall Street's horrific gambling with Other People's Money which led to the tanking of the American economy - and the price has been paid by the taxpayers who did NOT cause the problem.

care to pick out one thing that your talking about? or do you just get off making wildly outlandish generalized statement's without any direction at all?

care to discuss who was majority in the congress during the so called recession?

care to discuss the law bill Clinton got rid of that caused the housing crash?

jobs were pretty good under bush, if that's what your talking about, but no one really knows what your talking about because your comment is too broad. you expect people to read your mind?

do you think because some people have soo much money that means there is none left for other people? is that it? so you spend all your time worrying about those people at the top pocketing the cash because none will be left for you to EARN? is that it lol

and you want to talk about REGULATION stagnating growth LOL look to obamacare.

we could go on all night guessing what you meant with your generalized comment. LOL

Why do that when you could simply read it one time?

You are so dense it hurts my head. There have been numerous charts posted here about the rise of income disparity since the Reagan years. Did you review any of that? Are you OK with people making money off money with absolutely NO CONTRIBUTION to the public good? With a "free market" that allowed derivative investment income to dwarf GDP like a "vampire squid"*, causing the near-implosion of our economy, along with those of several foreign countries, resulting in a bailout for "too big to fail" banks, Wall Street titans and the largest insurance company in the country?

None of that is true.  I take it you are a serious fan of friend Joseph Goebbels.  Except for President Barack Hussein Obama's policies moving more wealth from the low and medium income households to the higher income brackets.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

Guess who said this:

" It is rotten and dismal that a world of so many hundred million people should be ruled by a single caste that has the power to lead millions to life or to death, indeed on a whim...This caste has spun its web over the entire earth; capitalism recognizes no national boundaries...Capitalism has learned nothing from recent events and wants to learn nothing, because it places its own interests ahead of those of the other millions. Can one blame those millions for standing up for their own interests, and only for those interests? Can one blame them for striving to forge an international community whose purpose is the struggle against corrupt capitalism? Can one condemn a large segment of the educated Sturmer youth for protesting against the greatest ability? Is it not an abomination that people with the most brilliant intellectual gifts should sink into poverty and disintegrate, while others dissipate, squander, and waste the money that could help them? ... You say the old propertied class also worked hard for what it has. Granted, that may be true in many cases. But do you also know about the conditions under which workers were living during the period when capitalism “earned” its fortune?"
