Where is your integrity and doctrinal consistency?  You insist the President Obama is a socialist, and the American people almost gave him two landslide proportion elections, and now you say the majority of folks who elected President Obama need to leave OUR country.......sorry the nutball fringe lost, and OUR country elected your socialist president......so which way do want your eggs?.......my guess.......scrambled.

Actually yes, I would love for all these socialist to get the hell out of this country. it WAS NOT socialism that built this great country.

grow a part of the gov that is bankrupt to help people get something for free because they wont go get something for free aka checking account.  Rolling Eyes

im literally amazed at the amount of stupidity in this. shocked even.

Just for those who might not realize it - the federal government is bankrupt. If you apply the solvency test: the ability to pay debts when they come due, we do not pass.  The government simply borrows the money - now totaling approx $17 Trillion.

BTW - the USPS has not received federal money since the 1970s. But, it does fall under the purview of the GD Congress, which mandated that the USPS fully fund its retirement health benefits for its employees. (it had been operating under a pay-as-you-go model, like so many other companies) While this may or may not be a sound practice, the point is that the GD Congress didnt require this of anyone else. So the USPS has to come up with with about $8 Billion per year for 10 years.  That's the crux of why the USPS is in financial difficulties.

The federal government is no more bankrupt than we were in 1945 when our debt to income was far worse. You are spot on correct on the healthcare acceleration of payments into the pension which was designed to create the financial issues which would allow the union to be busted and the special interests to get the profitable sections of USPS and leave rural America to pound on sand. The idea is sound, and what is really funny is the ancillary business model for the USPS has been a bipartisan idea for 30 years, by a liberal choosing banking services, the idea now becomes bad? Too funny to even describe.

We have not just come out of a World War either.

We have not just come out of a World War either.

Really....two wars and estimates with the accrued injuries these wars off budget may cost the American people 4-6 trillion, and the cost of world war 11 for America with lend lease was probably 500 billion.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_did_World_War_2_cost

Now to pay for the same we raised tax rates, where our solution over the last 30 years was to lower tax rates and take war off budget leading to a 17 trillion debt. We are not bankrupt, just hoodwinked by special interests and their shills who are trying to steal america.

your data is not efficient.

wwII cost 37% of GDP, while you can see that Iraq and afgan less than 5.
