All right. This thread is dedicated to bars, drinking, making drinks, getting drunk, hangovers, and any other alcoholic activities that ya' all wish to discuss or share. The party starts here...

This way I don't highjack the other thread with drinking songs and such. The only rule is to throw the bums out who want to discuss something that's not related to the already stated intent of this discussion because...

My first drunk overseas was in Athens, Greece. I was a rookie who didn't know squat at that time and my illustrious seniors decided that I needed to go drinking with them. So we went out an did shots of the local beverage Ouzo. Of course they didn't tell me that the Ouzo we were drinking was opium based and they pressured me into at least a dozen shots of the crap... I didn't come down for almost three days.

I never really cared for the taste of liquorice and refuse to touch even the candy since.

Well... Sitting at home is as good of place to do it as any. Come here to the Drinking Thread, get drunk, good friends... for the most part, and I can crawl over to the bedroom later if need be. In the end there's; no bar tab, no driving, no cops, and no hassle.
