Poping rice.  They heat the rice up and it all pops at once.  Makes a hell of noise.  


Works on Pop Corn also but all I ever saw was rice

I've never end heard of popped rice. Do you eat it like popcorn -- as a snack?

I wonder if that's how Quaker Oats makes their Puffed Rice?

Yes The guy would make his rounds and the kids would bring him their rice and he would Pop it. Really loud.
