Along with documenting the many technical failures of Obama's so called signature website Healthcare.gov, this CBS New York item reports the Obama sticker shock many Garden State college students now face thanks to the increasingly misleadingly named Affordable Care Act.

New Jersey built up a relatively extensive network of junior colleges in the 1970's and 80's. Now, ObamaCare is forcing them to drop cost effective insurance programs they had previously provided to students.

Many students have found themselves in health care limbo this semester. Community colleges in New Jersey used to offer cheap health insurance for hundreds of dollars a year but they had to drop the practice because Federal Law prohibits the sale of bare bones policies.
Under the Affordable Care Act it would have cost more to run the program and the cost would have been passed on to students.
Chalk this up as one more of a growing number of reports demonstrating that Barack Obama's now infamous promise of being able to keep your health insurance if you liked it was a flat-out lie.

It was a health care shocker for college students in New Jersey who found out that they can’t buy low-cost health insurance at their schools because of the Affordable Care Act.

Of course you don't know many Democrats. You live in a very narrow world defined by your own reality.

They are the ones ObamaCare needs most and are the ones with the least disposable income. Now they are being asked to graduate from college with an average $25,000 debt PLUS pay at least double what they would have WITHOUT ObamaCare for health insurance. All in order to pay for OTHER peoples insurance. This while these kids are trying to get started in life.

Wait until the employee provided health insurance begins to be dropped and increased in cost too.

Poor ol' Ezikel Emanuel went ballistic on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. He's one of the architects of the plan and has written extensively of the necessity of what would be called death panels.

If we retreat from 'requiring' a certain level of insurance then we should require that those who elect to not insure against certain health perils they should not be permitted to utilize health services not carried by their policy of choice. Otherwise, the premiums for everyone else will continue to escalate and taxpayer dollars will continue to be spent on these deadbeats who refuse to adequately insure themselves. This is a very tough position for me but people who feel they are being forced to purchase insurance absent the minimum standards, why should the rest of the country be punished for their bad choices?

WOW...that's a keeper. In every other realm of our society you advocate for REWARDING people for bad decisions and PUNISHING people for good choices.

This massive boondoggle is already collapsing under it's own weight.

Again, you deflect . . . . if Obama was LYING as you so proudly assert why did not Mitt Romney call him out during the campaign? Last chance.

So it is the State of New Jersey who is screwing the college kids. The policies they were offering were crap. That is the problem, not the PPACA.
Thanks for more misleading crap you love to type.
Half-truths, omissions, mis-quotes.....all from the arsenal of Faux News. You are such a good sheep, pee-dog/KarlRove.
Keep up the good work.
It is most entertaining.
Thanks.
