#1 It is being projected that millions upon millions of Americans are going to lose their current health insurance plans thanks to Obamacare. Most will be faced with the choice of either purchasing much more expensive health insurance or going uninsured. This will put even more stress on a middle class that is already disintegrating rapidly. The following is from the recent NBC News investigation mentioned above...

Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.”

#4 Thankfully the employer mandate in Obamacare was delayed for a little while, but it will ultimately result in widespread job losses all over the country.  In fact, we are already starting to see this happen.  The following is from a recent article in the Economist...

BEFORE the recession, Richard Clark’s cleaning company in Florida had 200 employees, about half of them working full time. These days it has about 150, with 80% part-time. The downturn explains some of this. But Mr Clark also blames Barack Obama’s health reform. When it comes into effect in January 2015, Obamacare will require firms with 50 or more full-time employees to offer them affordable health insurance or pay a fine of $2,000-3,000 per worker. That is a daunting prospect for firms that do not already offer coverage. But for many, there is a way round the law.

Mr Clark says he is “very careful with the threshold”. To keep his full-time workforce below the magic number of 50, he is relying more on part-timers. He is not alone. More than one in ten firms surveyed by Mercer, a consultancy—and one in five retail and hospitality companies—say they will cut workers’ hours because of Obamacare. A hundred part-timers can flip as many burgers as 50 full-timers, and the former will soon be much cheaper.

#7 If what is going on in New York is any indication, those that are signing up for health insurance under Obamacare are going to have a really, really hard time finding a doctor...

New York doctors are treating ObamaCare like the plague, a new survey reveals.

A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan.

Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.

Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.

The dude hiring part timers will soon realize they do not give a shit, do piss poor work, and will quit at the drop of a hat. He will be out of business very soon with that type of business model.

Well it's government regulations that are driving him to do that. Why should the government be able to force him to run his business a certain way. Pure market forces can do that so well.

So doctors have problems with private insurance companies........earth shattering and damn truthful. However, the scapegoat is the democracy of the people and for the people. Government........just who is government? In a democracy it is you and me, but to a nazi, government is an impediment to their vision of racial purity and exclusion. If the Affordable Care Act is wrong for America, we live in a Democracy.....people will demand change. If people agree with the Affordable Care Act it will survive, and government will be responsive. What do you propose as the alternative to democracy? The truth is not hard to distill..........

As you well know, we do NOT live in a democracy. We live in a representative republic. A pure democracy is mob rule. Though, with all the added government give aways we are approaching mob rule.

The Senate, driven by Harry Reid, even passed this monumental legislation by "DEEMING" it had passed.

ObamaCare was crammed up our...throats with bribes, payoffs and, most likely, blackmail.

he "Cornhusker Kickback" - For Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., "a provision exempting his state from paying the usual share of costs for new Medicaid patients." The deal is expected to cost taxpayers $100 million over 10 years.

The second "Louisiana Purchase" - Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., won an estimated $300 million in extra federal spending.

From Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., - a $100 million provision "anonymously" stuck into the package, money that Dodd wants to go to the University of Connecticut's medical center. According to the AP, at first Dodd didn't want to claim credit for that one, but he eventually confessed. Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense, a spending watchdog group, estimates that Dodd has secured 92 earmarks worth at least $121 million for Connecticut. "Not bad for a senator who isn't even on the Appropriations Committee," Ellis added.

Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., - won language in the bill that could give North Dakota an additional $650 million in Medicaid reimbursements over the next decade.

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., - won an exemption for nonprofit insurers (read, "Blue Cross Blue Shield," which controls 70 percent of Michigan's health insurance market) from a big excise tax.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., - helped tighten language that would allow Michigan hospitals to receive higher Medicare payments along with Connecticut. The cost? About $21 million.

Three airports in the district of infamous fence-sitting and ultimately kowtowing Democrat Bart Stupak were awarded $726,409 in grants by the Obama administration just two days before a vote on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare

A threat to take away Connecticut Independent Senator Joe Lieberman's committee chairmanship unless he falls into line.

Ten billion dollars in community health centers to buy off Vermont's self avowed (Independent) Socialist Bernie Sanders.

Mr. Markle you are correct we live in a democratic republic. It is a lot like sex......it is messy, but the best thing which perpetrates our existence. Our democracy is great. Every breath I take, I thank God and my parents for the opportunities I have had in this country.

Our government is imperfect. Your concerns about mob rule are absolutely legitimate, and became a core discussion by our founding fathers. However, you do not suggest destruction of our system of government. You suggest improvement. Now I watched the hearings today, and I watched the Presidents speech in Boston. We actually are on the path to some good things. You have been completely right on the failures of the website. I think that is fair. However, we all want the same thing. Efficiency and fairness. We should not defend the type of junk insurance that Bob has contracted. I see sick people more than I ever dreamed of and having insurance is statistically a path to quality life and survival. Sub par insurance policies bankrupt people and pass costs to the taxpayers. We must do a better job. In this Republic the debate is good, as long as there is no other agenda which aims at hurting the American People.

Well tell Mr Clark to get his head out of his ass, he has to comply with the mandate Jan 1 2014 except the employer reporting.

As far as I know on your renewal date in 2014 you have to have a compliant healthcare plan going forward. The part that you had to report who was on and what plans you had has been delayed.

I don't believe for a second that Obama cares one iota if he wrecks the economy. He is that radical of an extremist.

The man is pure evil wrapped in a nice suit and as fundamentally fake as they come.

Now that ObamaCare has "crashed", lets see it "burn". We could probably sell tickets to that. LOL

Wow....you think these insurance companies do not make a profit? Eleven million new customers would be a huge windfall for insurance companies and it would be a great trend in effecting responsibility. Sign em up. Many states are now issuing special drivers licenses to illegal aliens. It is huge. It is estimated in Illinois that 110k illegals will get licenses and pay for insurance......a huge protection from the last 20 years where more and more people were driving without insurance........personal responsibility is a good thing.

That profit you speak of is our tax money.  The others are right.  You really don't understand anything, do you?
