Was nice to see locally and nationally that there are still Americans that believe in freedom of speech!..The media misses this point all together and continues to attempt and portray this as an 'anti-gay', 'anti-gay marriage' issue...For the left to call for a 'boycott' and elected leaders in major cities to say they'll refuse Chic-fil-a business permits is so UN-American...For Rahm to do this in Chicago and then make a statement that Chic-fil-a doesn't represent 'Chicago Values'??...Perhaps the mayor should worry more about the murder/crime rate in his city rather than a chicken sandwich and an owner's right to express his opinions...

It wasn't very smart of this guy to do that.He has a right to his opinion but that's what happens in this country when you own a business and do that.

Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear them or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are non-sense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate and loving. ~ Rick Warren

I am not Catholic but after reading the above I thought about nuns and how they help people all over the world regardless of whether they agree with their lifestyle or not.

WTF are you blathering on about now? No one's First Amendment rights are being curtailed. The billionaire bigot can continue to spew whatever garbage he wants, people who reject his garbage can speak out, demonstrate, and boycott, and believe it or not, mayors can also express their opinions. These actions are as American as baseball and apple pie. What the mayors cannot do is refuse to allow Chick-fil-a to open its restaurants where they have every right to do so, and the mayors know it. This is all just a bunch of political posturing which is also as American as baseball and apple pie. What are you, some kinda commie?
