Just 24% of Americans have a positive view of the GOP

Just 24% of Americans have a positive view of the Republican Party, a Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey revealed on Thursday -- an all-time low for the GOP -- and only 21% had a positive view of the tea party movement.

That is downright scary.....one in five people think the Tparty is ok.

The Tea Party was co-opted by the GOP in a move to "energize the base". In other words, to bring the crazies into the fold. They have their own difficulties dealing with survival in this economy, and they're looking for someone or something to blame. It's always convenient to have a scapegoat...that might explain their readiness to find anyone else on which to pin their own shortcomings. What amazing to me is that they continually give themselves and the GOP a pass, while trying to shift blame...for example, to Obama, who wasn't in office when the SHTF. I remember the days of the Fairness Doctrine, before the right wing began buying up old AM radio stations to spew their hate messages...when political discussions had contributions from all sides of an issue. Now our country is besieged with propaganda, and the hate messages aren't coming from the Democrats. They're the last gasp of a dying party that's in bed with a dying American aristocracy. Screw that. Power to the people.

The only thing that matters on the planet is to get rid of the other side. We simply can not have any opposing ideals.
