Willfully forgetful aren't you?  Or didn't this appear on the DailyKOS?

The "Cornhusker Kickback" - For Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., "a provision exempting his state from paying the usual share of costs for new Medicaid patients." The deal is expected to cost taxpayers $100 million over 10 years.

The second "Louisiana Purchase" - Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., won an estimated $300 million in extra federal spending.

From Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., - a $100 million provision "anonymously" stuck into the package, money that Dodd wants to go to the University of Connecticut's medical center.  According to the AP, at first Dodd didn't want to claim credit for that one, but he eventually confessed. Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense, a spending watchdog group, estimates that Dodd has secured 92 earmarks worth at least $121 million for Connecticut. "Not bad for a senator who isn't even on the Appropriations Committee," Ellis added.

Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., - won language in the bill that could give North Dakota an additional $650 million in Medicaid reimbursements over the next decade.

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., - won an exemption for nonprofit insurers (read, "Blue Cross Blue Shield," which controls 70 percent of Michigan's health insurance market) from a big excise tax.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., - helped tighten language that would allow Michigan hospitals to receive higher Medicare payments along with Connecticut. The cost?  About $21 million.

Three airports in the district of infamous fence-sitting and ultimately kowtowing Democrat Bart Stupak were awarded $726,409 in grants by the Obama administration just two days before a vote on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare

A threat to take away Connecticut Independent Senator Joe Lieberman's committee chairmanship unless he falls into line.

Ten billion dollars in community health centers to buy off Vermont's self avowed (Independent) Socialist Bernie Sanders.

Obama/Pelosi Health Care....IF it is so good for our country, why are THEY exempt and it takes billions in bribes to get even DEMOCRATS to vote for this train wreck?

What is Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) willing to do to get this passed?  ANYTHING.

Tyrant Pelosi on Slaughter Rule: “I Like It Because People Don’t Have to Vote On the Senate Bill”  That’s where they vote on a rule that says that the bill they have NOT voted on…is DEEMED to have been passed….

Also Ms. Pelosi has stated:

“We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”

Also…The Debate Over Obamacare Will Begin After the Bill Is Passed

Is this the USA you are familiar with or is this the new way to get things done?

Well, now, you are being told this has to pass although it is filled with bribes and corruption --- and to pass it WITHOUT A SINGLE CHANGE.

Not a single bribe will come out of the bill which Pelosi and Obama are now DEMANDING that the House pass by March 18.

Is this the USA you are familiar with or is this the new way to get things done?

They knew if the truth was ever told about ObamaCare, it would never have passed.

The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the law in 2012. And Obama was re-elected that same year in a campaign that saw his opponents run on a promise to repeal “Obamacare.”

House Republicans need to accept that the healthcare act, however flawed, is the law of the land, and holding the federal government’s budget hostage to protest this law is a despicable political tactic that could set a dangerous precedent that undermines the very foundation of our democratic system of governance.

If the Affordable Care Act turns out to be as apocalyptically devastating as they forecast, we encourage the GOP to win elections and gain the necessary seats to repeal the law properly. Most of their Democratic peers operated this way when they were elected by the majority of U.S. voters on the premise that they would enact The Affordable Care Act — including the president, twice.

That is how it is done in this great nation, not by financial blackmail.

As you well know, ObamaCare was shoved up our...throats by bribes, payoffs and most likely blackmail AGAINST the will of the majority of Americans.

Well my favorite Nazi . . . would that be the same majority of Americans who didn't elect McCain or Romney? LOL!

Your ability for logic is just as warped as Von Braun's, who admitted that while he aimed for the stars with his rockets, he sometimes hit London.

Your assumption that every person, even the dead ones and fake ones who voted for odumbass supported obamacare. They do not.

You've been showed the proof here many times.

read it and weep.

Markle. Repeat after me. Congress and our President are not "exempt" from some nebulous, evil insurance policy called "Obamacare."

Congress and our President already have insurance, like all the other public and private employees in our country who already have insurance.

To perpetuate the myth that congress and the President are exempt from anything related to the PPACA is to perpetuate a flat-out lie. Why are you doing this?

Well, at least when my dog barks, there's usually a precipitating factor, unless he's barking in his sleep (which he does.) Laughing

Just noticed this interesting tidbit in Markle's long post:

Did you pull this one out of your old files, Markle? Why did you do that?

Sal, I learned the "Ask'em Why Intimidation and Humiliation Debate Technique" from Markle.

Markle used to ask me, in post after post, why I was so shameless, immoral and selfish. It used to bug me, till I figured out it was simply a technique. Pretty good one, too, I have to admit. Took me a while to catch on. Very Happy

Nope.

Dogs bark because they are dogs.

Liars lie because they are liars.

That's all you ever have isn't it? Your futility is obvious and getting pathetic.

I wish I'd never heard of the words kennedy and bush. Never in the history of the country has the term "riding on the coattails" been more applicable.
