I think this increased connectivity is like fire. You can either do good and beneficial things with it or you can burn something down.
It is sad to see people not doing what they are doing but instead walking down the street and not really being there but being 'in their phones' instead. Sometimes they fall into holes or walk into posts but often they miss just BEING with the people around them. I wonder if the relative novelty of the phone will mature over time and people will start using them in a more measured way? Time will tell.
