Face it, wars are never started by the citizens of countries -- They are always started by LEADERS, and the reasons are always the same:

A leader wants something another leader controls, or because he or she doesn't like THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE, or their gods, or for ego and power.

You and I fight, get maimed and die -- and certainly pay for the wars we never start.

In simple terms the business of war is to kill as many people as you can to get what you want.

And after raking in humongous profits from helping leaders kill people, these companies use some of the money to buy leaders and the people who work for them.

Face it, we think we control things with our votes, but the reality is, most of the people we vote for are owned by:
