“….O Rubio, Rubio ... we expected more from you. Instead, the man-child who bounced Charlie Crist out of GOP graces, the guy who fronted Time magazine as the “Republican Savior,” the son of immigrants who rose up to the U.S. Senate with the competitive intensity of the Miami Heat is revealing himself to be just another politician with all the cosmetic emptiness and phony talent you’d expect from Miami hype”

Ouch! Good editorial. The PNJ also needs to start holding Jeff Miller more accountable.

Rubio has a polished demeanor but underneath is just another politician with his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. It was a good editorial and thanks!

On January 5, newly elected U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) was sworn into office in Washington D.C. But the former speaker of the Florida House of Representatives has some unfinished business back home.

Rubio–as well as other state GOP lawmakers and party contributors–are currently the likely subjects of multiple wide-ranging state and federal investigations conducted by the FBI and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) into improper use of credit cards issued by the Republican Party of Florida, as well as tax evasion and improper budgetary appropriations.

Some of the legislative actions reportedly being investigated by federal authorities are those that led to the development of the state’s largest private prison, the Blackwater River Correctional Facility (CF), which opened its gates for operation in November 2010. The prison was designed and is operated by Florida-based Geo Group, the nation’s second-largest private prison operator.

To date, investigations into members of the Florida Republican Party, as well into party donors, have resulted in multiple indictments. On November 2, 2010- election day–federal investigators subpoenaed the party’s financial records..."

What's sad is that we only had good representation in this area when we had a crook as a politician (WD Childers).

I have a Logitech wireless mouse that will not remember things that you block and copy. Instead it pastes what you blocked and copied previously. I forgets what you blocked and copied 25% of the time. Most of the time I catch it, but it is a pain to have to go ane redo it.

I have the same mouse at the office. I don't recall having a problem with it other than pilot error. Sometimes when I copy something from my lap top at home to the office desktop it will post something I had copied previously.

But I do love Cuban coffee.
