Markle, I am so sorry about your cat. You have mentioned him several times before, so I know you had a tight bond with him. I know there is never a replacement for a pet that has passed, but I have no doubt another cat will adopt you soon. I'll bet word has already hit the street among the stray cat population over there in Tally. Very Happy

Seaoat, while I am sad to hear your daughter's dog passed, I am glad to know he was surrounded by family at that time. Thank you for letting us know the outcome, sad thought it is.

For both of you:  Trite as it sounds, please remember the Rainbow Bridge. When our times come, we, too pass over that bridge to be reunited with our pets. And no, our pets don't sit over there and mourn in loneliness. Instead, they have a blast playing with all the other pets while they wait. They are young once more, and healthy. But when they spy us coming over the bridge.....ahhhh!  I love you

OMG, thanks SO for sharing and Markle, my deepest sympathy.

This thread is catching me at the wrong time. My pup's headed into surgery this morning. It's a bad one, but a full, yet lengthy recovery is expected.

Poor Paige just keeps getting malignant tumors removed now and will be going in, again, Thursday.

I know that final goodbye all too well, SO and Markle. It stays with us, forever.

I hope your heart will become lighter soon.

Thanks, Joani and PB.

I'm not trying to steal the heartbreak here from SO or Markle.  I still have hope that my loves will continue.

Actually the pup was rejected for her surgery today due to thyroid issues and will not be expected back until her levels....level?  You nurses know more about that than I.

She returned home after 6 hours without breakfast angry and hungry!

Again, she wouldn't get out of the car until dear Paige brought her to her senses.

Paige is close, Joani, you're right.  Thanks.

Changed my avatar to the first tumor removal and the pup taking care of her. Smile

We all should be so kind.
