When I was writing a thesis on LAFTA a part of the problem was the structural poverty in Brazil, and by golly the former slaves. A far more complex societal analysis because unlike the slavery of America where clear racial lines divided society, much less clear in Brazil........well except the stunning similarity of poverty.......but I guess Brazil and Haiti, are not the countries you are talking about which so clearly show the correlation of progressive policies and the decline of former slaves........this would be hysterical if I was sharing this conversation with an idiot, but I am not.....it is an intelligent man who has tendered a completely whacked theory of history, and does not want to take the time to learn me......well I have all the time you want to take......but I think you have got in the deep end of the pool, and you do not have your water wings..............
