Would you get in the car?

I'd like to think not. I would rather be shot on the spot, than be whatevered by some psycho.
But, who can say how we would react under such shock and fear?

Depends on how many, how close the gunman is, and the location.....but probably if I couldn't figure something out. Why?

Do not know.

Feign a heart attack while screaming "my medicine"go into my pocket pull out my gun and shoot him between the eyes till my gun was empty. Or feign a heart attack and make him drag my dead weight into his car and watch for an opportunity to go for his eyes with a thumb claw hand. He would have to holster the gun to drag me and if he was kidnapping me getting shot there is as good as anywhere.

Actually a running screaming zigzagging target is also very hard to hit with a handgun.

I was watching one of those "I survived" episodes about a mother and her two young children who were abducted at a grocery store. Two men took her to a wooded area and raped her and shot her four times. They took the children and shot them in the head. The woman survived but the children did not. I just thought about what if she didn't get in the car and and ran back to the store would they have shot her in the grocery store parking lot? Probably not. I think you have a better chance of survival if you just run in a zig zag pattern than get in a car. It's hard to hit a running target.

I wouldn't get in the car. I would take my chances on getting shot. If it's you they want then your chances are slim they're going to let you get away. I'd rather die in some parking lot than a wooded area where nobody would find you for awhile.

I would run. You stand less of a chance of surviving if you get in the car with the criminal. Run for your life.

Nice, France Spring 1985, a friend of mine was in a casino and had won about $3000. After he left the casino and got to the parking lot, he was accosted by two men who wanted his money. He willingly gave it as he was held up at gun point. When they motioned him over towards their car and opened the trunk, he refused to get in hit the guy with the gun and started running. The perps still managed to get off a shot after picking up the gun and hit my friend in the back. He managed to get back to the ship in Marseille with a bullet lodged near his spine. The military never operated on him and he left the Marines with a disability check.

He didn't run in a zig zag pattern.

If they abducted Seaoats, I'll want them to swing by my house so I could give em plenty of gas money to take him on a looooonnnngggg trip far far away from civilization and computer.

Might be the only way we could shut him up. What would you do if someone tried to abduct you at gunppoint? 2413

It worked for him he is still alive today. Putting distance between himself and the perps was all he cared about. Had he been dodging Sagger missiles, that might have worked. He wasn't. You always have some jerkoff thing to say as if your old ass could have done better than a combat hardened Marine in his prime.

Damn. Chasing rabbits and smoking meth. What would you do if your 13 yr old daughter told you she was impregnated by a Haitian heroin addict with AIDS?

There seems to be a lot of worst case scenario thinking on this forum. The redeeming factor is the ridiculous answers to the absurd scenarios. I like it.

Watcher is right- you run like hell. Better he shoots you where you stand than take you out in the woods to kill you. Also, chances are that if he's telling you to get into the car, it's a public place somewhere. He'll feel a lot less inclined to fire a shot off in public.

It's what the police recommend, I believe.

It helps if you don't have the situational awareness of a turnip.
Be aware of your surroundings.

I only say jerkoff things to jerkoff's but in that situation this "old ass" would have pulled a gun also and if I was going out... he was going w/ me. No zig zagging for me.
