Testifying before a senate hearing, a long line of old white men wearing Michael Jackson bling outfits, say they need to retain the right to protect sexual molesters in the military.
The military these ancient generals run is the same one that "guesstimates" there were 26,000 reported incidents last year and more than a 100,000 unreported sex abuse events. CNN reported this date that there have been more than 500,000 rapes in the military service since 1992.
Every one of the generals questioned by the hearing committee members stated he (there were no women generals) was absolutely against service members committing sexual abuse against fellow soldiers. It's also interesting to note that not one of these white old men wearing lots of spaghetti, ever commanded men in a war that we won. They all insist that the current chain of command remain in force -- allowing these bemedalled dinosaurs to continue the current system that doesn't work -- the same way they train and equip soldiers who can't win wars.
The victims include men as well as women. Sen. McCain asked: "General, is it true that currently a convicted sexual offender can easily join a military service?"
The aged general quickly agreed that there currently was no screening in this regard.
Let's add up what all this means: We have a president who lied to us about closing Guantanamo, and who has okayed the murder of at least 4 Americans without a trial, via his drone program. We have an IRS targeting citizens for their political affiliations, We have the ATF selling guns to drug cartels, we have an FBI that apparently executes suspects (the unarmed Chechen who, last week, under FBI interrogation was shot five times in the body and once in the back of the head), and we have cops in ninja outfits, carrying HK MP5s, shooting dogs and people -- often in what turns out to be a SWAT break in at a wrong address -- and we have police like those in Miami-Dade who took down a dangerous 14-year-old black armed with a puppy, a woman who can't hear, manhandled and beaten by a traffic cop, and such incidents are reported every week. .
What happened to honor and integrity among those who are supposed to serve us?
Who in Hell are we supposed to trust here in good ole Amerika Inc???
