Public Policy Polling has come out with some of the more trollish-yet-useful polls of the 2016 race. (By definition, any 2016 poll conducted in 2013 is trollish.) Because they always put a ballot test in the questionnaire, PPP's robots get a pretty lean, accurate measure of what people think of the candidates as candidates, not as famous people.

So. In February, they found this rating for Hillary Clinton, much softer than her usual +30 point favorable rating.

Yesterday, the robots returned with a new study of 2016. It had been a full week since documents started tarnishing her State Department's role in Benghazi spin. Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar has played the short version* of Clinton's answer to Sen. Ron Johnson—the "what difference does it make?" tape—in front of Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks. Hicks basically condemned the thought on live TV.

The damage:

* Republicans typically cut off the Clinton answer to make it sound like she was wholly callous about the deaths of Americans in Benghazi. Her full answer, of course, was that "four Americans are dead," and "what difference does it make" whether that came after a protest or a planned attack. Still bad!

I am devastated by this. Heartbroken that this wonderful dignitary has to suffer this indignity. I will pray for her.

I hope she is your candidate... and I hope the worst possible candidate the right can produce is also.

Give me a person that represents neither party and deferrs to the constitution.

If my proposed Amendment was added to the Constitution, that bitch wouldn't even be eligible.

She will be our President ...

... and you will not like it ...

... and that will make me happy.

I will not stay in this country and pay taxes if it picks Hillary as its leader...like I said before I would rather sellout and go to a deserted island and eat rats and coconuts for 4 years or until I expire....she's my worst nightmare.

This morning on Fox and Friends I heard......Hillary Clinton's State Department five times.......this entire thing is a tempest in a teapot. Of course her numbers are going up........people are smarter than Fox thinks.......they have lost their minds........

So the previous president was the son of a president. And now we want the next president to be the spouse of a president.

I guess I'm just the weirdo here. Because I would think that out of 320 million people, it just seems odd to me that only two families should produce so many of our presidents.
I guess we need to get some Kennedys back in office as well. And how about Tricia Nixon. Surely she's the best we can come up with too.
