Bob,

Get the Pensacola phone book and write 200 names down.......put the names in a hat, and draw out 100 people........write the list down.......I care about the same for your list and Time magazine's list.......your technique is more honest however.........John Brennan......geez

The man who thinks family members who lost children at Sandy Hook are props...........in a country which was once a meritocricy......we have evolved to Jr. with no talent or right inheriting by osmosis the merits of their father......of course what can we expect......I have been watching dancing with the stars.......nothing surprises me anymore.

Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger. Shoot that pointy-headed geek who runs Time Magazine and goes on Morning Joe every week and uses TV to let us know what's in that magazine. Methinks that's about the only way anyone knows what's in that magazine because nobody's buying magazines anymore. That magazine is about as obsolete as that phone book you mentioned. lol

I think they missed one....................

from wiki...

During early 2007, the year's first issue was delayed for roughly a week due to "editorial changes." The changes included the job losses of 49 employees.

In January 2013, Time Inc. announced that it would cut nearly 500 jobs – roughly 6% of its 8,000 staff worldwide

Time Inc. and Apple have come to an agreement wherein US subscribers to Time Inc. magazines will be able to read the iPad versions of those magazines for free, at least until the two companies sort out a viable digital subscription model

Lotsa luck with that charging money to read the thing on the internet when there's about several hundred thousand competitors to it we can read for free. lol

I don't know about a list of "the 100 most influential people", but that magazine would surely make the list of "the 100 LEAST influential media models". lol

Stooder may be the big cheese around here. But I'm not sure we can count him among the 100 biggest slices of cheese in the world.
Actually I think the whole thing is pretty cheesy (using the other definition of the word) lol

I've always said that every time I see a list of "the 100 most beautiful women in the world", I know damn well whoever makes those lists has never seen the coeds walking across the campus of PJC. lol

p.s. and no that's not a typo. I will always call it PJC because that's what it is. It's my alma mater so I have just as much right to call it what it is as those foreigners in Tallahassee had the right to call it something it aint.

I was thinking of Fred Levin...... Now you will have William on your Ass for just mentioning Stooder..... LOL

That's true. But once the bonds default and the ultimate bondholders "take a haircut" (as Margin Call would put it), I'll have the last laugh.
Not really, more like I'll be crying since I'll be one of those at the barber shop. You and William and the rest of you county dwellers will get to be the spectators. lol

They have Daniel Day-Lewis on that list and I don't have a clue what he thinks about anything. They don't have Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert on the list. Those two probably influence young people more than anyone else on the planet.

It's a sorry list, IMO.

Lindsey Vaughn.........please hand me the pistol.........I recognized 29 names or less than a third of the names. I used to subscribe to Time magazine. It was a great magazine. The print media is in dire times.

I know half of them, ate dinner with two of them, and one still owes me money from a poker game we played three years ago.

You've had dinner and played poker with 3% of the world's most influential people? And you know half of them?
For god sakes don't leave us hanging, tell us more. Which ones? How and why did you meet them? What were they like?

Now I may be way off base here and remembering something that is really not correct. So if I am, I apologize in advance.

But is gulfbeachbandit the same individual who had the handle "quarterback" on PNJ. Quarterback was the one who bragged about "rolling queers in the Greyhound bus station" when he was young. And told us he was such a famous football player that we would all know his name. But never told us the name. I remember someone speculating that he was Ken Stabler. lol
But as I said, if gulfbeachbandit and quarterback are not the same individual then I apologize for suggesting it.

By the way, on the subject of "rolling queers", I know I should know what that means but actually I don't. I just googled it...

https://www.google.com/search?q=what+does+rolling+queers+mean&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

... but as you see that was no help.
I've also heard the expression "rolling drunks" so I'm assuming it must be the same thing. Not completely sure what that means but does it mean beating up people and taking their money away from them or what exactly? And in the case of "rolling queers" could that also mean a person gets a queer to suck his dick? Because if that's the case, wouldn't that make the person "rolling queers" be a queer too?

My sincerest apologies. No one deserves to be falsely accused of being the individual in question.

But I'm still sincerely interested in knowing which of the most influential people you had dinner with and what they were like. Don't worry, they're not reading any of this so you won't be betraying a confidence. It'll just be our secret.
