So what is going on?

Does it seem like obama is siding with radical islamist?

I think so. And if we discuss it intelligently I think we can come up with a lot of info that proves he is. And he is doing it with our money in our faces.

You missed the boat again. You shouldn't try to interpret foreign policy. You're not good at it.

Are we giving arms to Al Qaeda or not? The only foreign policy towards this group we should have would be that of ANNIHILATION of this group.

weve given them millions of dollars, might as well have given them weapons, how do people think they buy weapons? not with dirt.

heres another dem wanting to actually arm them.

CNN's Kevin Liptak

(CNN) – U.S. Rep. Eliot Engel introduced legislation Monday giving President Barack Obama the authority to provide rebels in Syria "lethal equipment," which the United States has thus far avoided doing over the course of the two-year conflict.

The New York Democrat previewed the legislation Sunday, saying in an interview it was the time for more substantial American investment in the rebels fighting to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

and what about this part from this article? >>>
Last week, Syrian rebels claimed to CNN that hundreds of their fighters were being given sophisticated-weapons training organized and authorized by the United States at a camp in Jordan. A senior rebel spokesman said 300 fighters had already completed the course and crossed the border into Syria on Thursday.

>>The U.S. has provided millions of dollars in funding and humanitarian aid to the Syrian opposition, and has pressed them to establish a leadership structure. MILLIONS>>>>>and MILLIONS

where in the hell are all those anti war people that have been harping about the last few days? nothing from them on this?

I thought they could come on here and show how proud they are of us helping al queda purchase weapons and such.

I don't like assad, lets get that clear, but Syria is going to be another iran where a more radical Islamism takes control. just like in Egypt. we seem to be supporting the more radical islamist these days. think about this.

You find it very difficult to make adult responses, don't you? I can't believe a grown man makes these responses let alone a teacher. Makes you wonder what you say to your students?

I find it hard to believe, after denigrating Bush II for his Iraq and Astan actions that you would support Obama making an incursion into Syria. You do know what is inside Syria along the insurgent (Hizbollah and minions) and chem weapons scenarios, right? Nope you don't and you won't have to go and you don't care because of that. You have no skin in the game.

Saddam's chem weapons, they are in Iraq. Yep. It's all noted in the news before the Iraq 2003 invasion...all that supply truck traffic heading out of Iraq into Syria. Do the OSINT research.

I see that you are the biggest hypocrite here. You were for Iraq and Astan before you were against it, and now you want to go ahead and attack another country before you finish the job in Astan. Nice. Where is the money going to come from to fund that action? Is Obama gonna print more, sure!!!!

You suck.

she will support anything this admin wants.

she could if she cares about this situation so much let her son go and serve under Obama and go fight all these wars. Im sure the perspective would change as mine did when I found out we don't fight wars anymore but only get involved in political maneuvers on a worldly scale. Because if we fought wars like we did back when, we would have annihilated those areas quickly and there would be none of this lingering bs. but the crybabies would cry that war is mean. because yes, war is supposed to be mean and you are supposed to use everything you have to annialate the opponent. that's war. not what we have now and you know this. youre one of our national heros still in the trenches.

I don't ant to get involved in this because I know we are going to set it up like we did in Egypt and iran for the wrong side. its rediculas to send money to these people to continue a long drawn out civil war of which really is about religious fanatism which has been going on so long over there and it will just drain our physical and capital resources. For what?

I'm getting tired of you accusing me of things not said. Are you senile? You couldn't care less about the money. You just hate Obama because you're an ignorant backwoods redneck from Milton who is eaten away because a black man is in the white house.

So what in this post is not true???

How about this broomrider?

1) Being Open Minded: To a liberal, this has nothing at all to do with seriously considering other people's ideas. To the contrary, liberals define being "open-minded" as agreeing with them. What could be more close-minded than assuming that not only are you right, but that you don't even need to consider another viewpoint because anyone who disagrees must be evil?
