Good question and there's been no explanation from the government...Strange that some want to limit law abiding citizens on weapons/ammo that can be purchased yet the government is stockpiling...are they fearful of a foreign threat or domestic threat?...Throughout history when a government buys up weaponry but wants to disarm its citizens...it doesn't or hasn't ended well...

The ammo excuse is for target practice. Why use hollow-points for target practice? Wad-cutters are much cheaper, even lead bullets are cheaper.

Hollow-points are killing rounds, period.

Besides, Biden says a Shotgun is all anyone needs.......

Anyone ever consider that the ammo manufacturer simply has a good lobbyist and the ammo stockpile has no other purpose than to enrich investors? Yep...seems far more reasonable.
