Homeland Security and other Frauds

Does anyone know of even one terrorist caught as a result of the airport security that's operating at all our airports now? How many bombs have been found? How much real nitroglycerine or other liquid explosive material in cosmetic containers? How many loaded shoes?

that is a really good question. I would think that something like that might not be made public cuz it would instill fear into passengers and hurt the airline industry. But i also agree that the government has expanded its control to extremes that are unnecessary, although it would only take 1 incident from a successful terrorist plot to say the government did not do enough...so where do you draw the line?

and in the mean time, they can keep on patting down little kids or senior citizens and people with disabilities just because........ subjecting them to unnecessary searches and rectal exams, lol Everyone fears the ole body cavity search,

The Homeland Security as it was originally envisioned has morphed into a continuation of wasteful spending when it provides state of the art technology in equipment for every Barney Fife in every single community across the nation, I don't say this excepty out of my own experience being from from a small town . . . now they have all the latest and greatest gadgets to arrest the same drunkards and the feds pick up the bill for the enhanced security. . . . . . .ridiculous.

i agree...it was a great concept, perhaps poorly implemented. But we have thwarted any and all terrorist plots so far so i say lets cut spending in other areas first. Have you looked at the amount of foreign aid we give out? OMG all we have to do is just tell these countries that receive it that we need to pay our bills for a month or two and that would take care of the federal deficit. The numbers are unbelievable, astronomical, and out of this world crazy! And here we are in a budget crisis and you never hear anything about foreign aid being slashed.....hey foreign countries, we have bills to pay, i am sure you understand if we are delinquent on our distribution of your foreign aid for a month or two, lol

we can pay them by giving them a state that we dont need...hmm.....New Mexico isnt really needed is it? lol I wonder how much New Mexico will go for on Ebay? We should auction it off

or we can pawn it....and when we have enough money saved up, we can pay it off and get it back, but why? i cant remember the last time i heard anything about New Mexico in the news.....we need to do it before it succeeds from the nation. Gosh, i hope they dont read this....not trying to give them any ideas, lol

Or we can take the money from homeland security which is designed to keep us safe and use that funding to give cell phones to lazy people.

Making public what was found would compromise the gains we have made in combating your plane being run into the ground or a skyscraper. You don't have a need to know and neither do I.

well im not quite sure where youre going with that one, but we have to admit that our country has been spared from acts of foreign terrorism since 911. I would be more concerned about domestic terrorism which is a totally different ballgame. How can we stop these morons from entering public places and mowing down innocent men, women and children, and do it in a way that is not controversial? Things have become too complicated in Washington...everybody seems to agree to disagree. We are a nation of indecision for sure. Maybe we should become more of a socialist society.....i think our country needs a facelift anyway. All this gridlock and complicated political jargon makes my hemorroids flare up, lol

but the thing is if the information was hidden and then found public....all of a sudden we have a scandal on our hands......this is exactly what is happening in FLorida's illegal sting operations in the topic i started. ok, i kinda got off the beaten path there for a sec....lets get to the root of the problem, why is it that we need a homeland security? its because most the damn world hates our guts and everything we stand for. We go into foreign lands with troops, slaughter their people and impose our values and so called freedoms in a land that hasnt changed much since the beginning of time. There is no wonder we are hated and have to dole out so much foreign aid....we have to buy other countries friendships. We are no better than the reigns of Genghis Khan and/or Atilla the Hun. Politicians and military heirarchy call it liberation, but in fact it is more like conquering! Anybody disagree with this one? lol

since im on a roll, the same reason we need a homeland security is the same reason we need a state dept. or you can just really call it the PR dept. cuz thats essentially what is it. It is actually our first line of defense instead of hostilities between countries. I must say Hillary did a pretty good job at playing "mop-up" and cleaning up our messes in foreign lands before the mess spilled over to our next line of defense which is homeland security while ole Bill is at home chillin with a fat spliff passing out cigars to any Monica Lewinsky that passes by. Its no wonder why there was a blood clot found in her head, what a difficult job she had. If she were running for President, she would get my vote, but i dont think ole Bill could handle another term in the oval office. Not only would we see the 1st female president but we would probably witness the first dissolution of marriage in the White House because of irreconcilable differences. They would be squabbling over who sits in the big chair! ARRRRG..a chaotic world we live in
