Panetta drops dime on Clinton- no communication from SoS during Benghazi attacks

Neither the
secretary of defense nor the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff spoke to the
secretary of state during the 8-hour attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi,
Libya on September 11, 2012. At a Thursday hearing in the Senate, Republican Ted
Cruz asked both Leon Panetta and Martin Dempsey, "In between 9:42 p.m., Benghazi
time, when the first attacks started, and 5:15 am, when Mr. Doherty and Mr.
Woods lost their lives, what converations did either of you have with Secretary
Clinton?"

"We did not have
any conversations with Secretary Clinton," Panetta responded.

"And General
Dempsey, the same is true for you?" Cruz asked. Dempsey confirmed
this.


Obviously in the Obama admin, the lights are on, but nobody is home.

Now this is an event that took place over 8 hours. HOW in the HADES did Clinton NOT communicate with anyone over this debacle? Anyone remember Hillary, in the 2008 Dem campaign for POTUS calling out Obama saying, "Who would you want answering the red phone in a crisis?" Obviously not Hillary, but Obama doesn't get a pass either. His phone must have been off as well.

More importantly Panetta Dropped the dime on President Barack Hussein Obama as well.

According to CIA Director Leon Panetta, he had ONE SHORT discussion with President Obama and that was it. From there the meeting went on to other topics, also AWOL was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton...while four Americans were Slaughtered in Benghazi.

While the attack was ongoing, President Obama was nowhere to be found.

According to their testimony, the two men met with Obama at 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 11. That meeting lasted 30 minutes, they said.

Afterward, they did not hear from anyone at the White House, including the president.


“A Defense Department timeline says that Panetta and Dempsey had been informed of the terrorist attack in Benghazi at 4:32 p.m.–28 minutes before they went into their meeting with Obama.

At today’s hearing, Panetta said he informed Obama of the attack when they entered their 5:00 p.m. meeting. That was one hour and 18 minutes after the attack started and while it was ongoing,”


Panetta told Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) that Obama left operational details “up to us.”


“Did you have any further communications with him that night?”

Sen. Ayotte asked.


“No,” Panetta said.

I hope she does run in 2016 because when all this come back up and is dug into further and she throws a caniption fit while campaigning, she will be toast.
