Sitting on this forum is killing me and I keep doing it.

But on the bright side. My boobs are REALLY REALLY BIG lol

Look it takes a lot of guts for me to post my self here. I have been with ya'll for a very long time. Im growing old. Its NOT funny. And I dont think its funny that ya'll are old and are growing old. I mean Im not as old as some of yall, but If I didnt like you I wouldnt be here at all. And some of your old asses i still find sexy.

Point is, I'm almost 48 years old. I may not be the girl I was when I first came here, But dammit. Im still sexy. Because sexy is still a part of me. All over my fat ass. Razz

I've never read an article that suggested that.

I have read that being slightly overweight, but maintaining a consistent weight, is healthier than gaining and losing, and gaining and losing, and gaining and losing, ad infinitum as many Americans do these days.

well, to be honest, im not happy with it, but it is wht it is. these years being in management has taken its toll on me. and that whole thing about growing old. its not easy being a abnormal midget. people make jokes and stuff. and what really pisses me off s that because im a tall midget ai cant get parts in movies. The first pic i ever posted years ago was of me flipping the forum off. remember that one? lol I did post a pic of me and my mom not long ago because some people were asking for pics of all of me which is a little why i posted these. Ive told people the last couple years i wasnt no teeny girl anymore. im a whole lot of woman, but i dont think im grossly obese. yet.

Im so tired, this week kicked my ass, i just woke up from a nap. i crashed actually. the last 2 weeks ive gotten called in at 230 in the morning a lot, my normal time is 9-5. i still have to work 9-5 in between all the call ins and it messes with me. so im horriibly exhausted.

I saw it and read it... uhh, 2 - 4 weeks ago in my Google News in the Science section. I'd never heard of anything of the sort before either and was surprised by it. Now, mind you, it did not say "extremely obese" folks, or anything of that sort, just that elderly people who were packing around some extra weight lived longer than the skinny minnies. I'm about beat, otherwise I'd try to look up the article/s for you, but I'll try to remember to do so tomorrow.

But yeah, I am 100% with you regarding weight-maintenance vs. constant gaining and losing... that's just BAD for folks, which is why I always hate to hear people say they're "going on a diet" when what they really need to do is make a lifestyle change in their eating habits, &c. Shoulda noted all of above in my original post, but was being lazy.

For what it's worth, I totally agree with EE... With only the addition, "so long as you're healthy." Two of my cousins have struggled with their weight after childbirth and received a bunch of BS from some members of our family. I always told them both that so long as they were happy and healthy, and their husbands had no issue with it (which they absolutely did not... they loved the big booty!), it ain't nobody else's damned business.

You still look great, girl.

Oh, im not happy with it. Its very difficult to look in the mirror and see someone else. Thats how it feels, i know others here can relate.

I was a size 6 or smaller till 5-6 years ago. after 40 my health took a turn, between that and stress of being a manager the middle age spread. I dont beleive in diets, I do eat fairly healthy but my schedule gets mixed up all the time like the last couple of weeks where i had to go into work because sick employees. This gets my eaating habits off, like yesterday i had barbecue chicken at 6 am in the morning, i was up at 2;30 to work though, felt like lunch.lol

eitherway i may not be happy with my weight, but im happy in general with myself. I think of myself like a sexy amazon woman Razz

my gf agrees with that.

People have to learn to love themselves as they change getting older.
