Fla. murder suspect killed in Ga. car crash

WOODBINE, Ga. (AP) -- Police say a 21-year-old man suspected in the murder of a 41-year-old Florida woman has been killed in a car accident.
Authorities say Christian Joseph Murphy, who was wanted for murder in Titusville, Fla., was a passenger in a car police trailed along Interstate 95 from Florida to Georgia Sunday night. Police say Murphy was wanted in the slaying of Michelle Renee Chapell, which occurred Sunday morning.
Police say an unidentified 15-year-old girl who was driving eventually lost control of the vehicle and crashed into trees near the freeway median. Authorities say Murphy died in the crash and the girl is being held in the Camden County jail. Details on the relationship between Murphy and the girl were not immediately available.
