I wonder how this will affect the local area and how Jeffie Miller will respond/react?

The article says they are already talking about giving rotating furloughs to DOD civil servants in 2013.

If Boehner's Congress decides to not work with the administration on this stuff, well... 2014 could become an interesting election.

Would be nice if the administration decided to try a partisan approach instead of holding america hostage.

Let's consider our reputation as being a progressive drinking village with a small fishing problem, a quiet back water reminder of what life used to be like before the Civil Rights Voting Act, cars w/out ashtrays, and cyber ink.

Our overwhelming support for Pres. Obama and rock solid loyalty to his Vision for America should place us up the ladder of opportunity when there are DOD cuts to be made.

So drink up Shriners....happy daze is heah agin'....!!!!

There's gonna be sad singin' and slow walking...waltzes might even make a comeback.

This area is ripe for cuts to eliminate redundancy. Look for some serious consolidation of facilities.
