I confused the 56 and 57 chevy up in the first panel of four and quit.....my neighbor had a 57 chevy for 10 years, and I am pink....that was embarasing, because I helped him with the car......I am better in the early 60s through the early 70s......I am only 61, and to be honest......they all look the same, but I was a kid and had not got the car bug.....now my 61 falcon.....yep....now that was a car.

In 1963 they had a Ford just like this one at Muldons car lot on Baylen st, next to the Trailways bus station. My Dad said he would help me buy it. I think it was like 2800 dollars. Had a 260 with a 4 speed. I really wanted it but the draft was on my ass and I decided not to get it.............All ways has been a "What if?"...

Used car lot was on Baylen .... New cars on Wright street
They started on Wright and Palafox then moved down to Wright street and Tarragona(sp?) My Dad bought a new 48 ford from them. Traded in the 39. It was a big deal back then.
It got phased out when Greyhound and Trailways rebuilt. I think Trailways moved from Romano and Jefferson in around 62 or so.
I left from 64 to 68 I think it was gone when I returned.

This photo of the Fiesta Parade interests me because it is a good view of Palafox Street looking south. You see Muldon Motor Company and next to it was Son Motors and you have the San Carlos off in the distance. I am not sure of the year, but I would imagine it to be in the 50′s sometime. The float pictured must have been sponsored by ” Coca-Cola ” since you it on the back of the plane on the after-burner. One thing you can say about Pensacola is that everyone always turned out for the parades … then and now! Thanks for looking …

Here is another one that deals with GM cars.

http://www.americantorque.com/game/1960s-Car-ID-GM/

You got 84% (47 right out of 56). The average score is 62%. The GTOs and the Oldsmobile Cutlass are the cars that tripped me up.

Here is another one that deals with GM cars.

I got less than 50% and I worked with these cars every day working at auto dealerships in 1968, 1969, and 1970. I would only get two of four right on each panel and would screw up by a year and flip the mistake.....that test was not easy, and I really did no better than the 50s. I could not tell the difference of years in the 63-66 period.
