Maybe I am getting old Chrissy but dick , poop, pussy, and most jokes in that vein are getting boring...she just looked like a drunken ass....I have "helped" enough of them while serving on shore patrol.

I am a huge Law and Order: SVU fan and watch every show that comes on, even the reruns. She had a part in one of their episodes and I turned the channel as soon as I saw her.

I'm with you on this also T. I do not find her brand of humor very humorous at all. I equate it to British humor.

I dont care for either one of these individuals personally, and I dont support doing stuff like that on national news tv program.

But jokes involving private parts, sex acts and occasionally poop are often used by comedians. Some of the most famous comedians use all of those.

I do not believe in censorship. If you want to produce or watch trash, you should be able to do it in a free society. But I'm tired of all of the filth and trash on TV. The vulgar stuff shouldn't be on network TV. I know CNN is cable, but we shouldn't be subjected to outright filth on cable news channels. Some of the things I've seen on the ABC/CBS/NBC shows are way over the line. There are plenty of pay cable channels for adult type programming-- and outright filth, if that's what you want to watch. I, myself, enjoy some of the more adult TV shows and there is a place for that kind of programming. But even the so called "family" channels are full of trash that no child or pre-teen/young teen should be watching.

I am appaled at some of the stuff on regular tv. Although there really isnt much regular tv, pretty much everyone has to have cable of some form.

This doesnt mean as me a adult when I see something of a adult nature not think its funny. When he was trying to get away from her and told her "No he really doesnt" I fell over laughing. It was just funny, all politics and personal likes aside, it simply was funny.

but back to what is being shown to our children. They have soft porn in rated R movies now. The language in music, etc. With the digital age and everyone being connected its very hard to protect your children from being esposed to this type of stuff, so yes, the last place we need to see it is on the news.

A lot of the stuff I've seen in PG 13 movies is unsuitable for 13 year olds.
It is almost impossible today to shield your children from all of the filth that's out there. I can almost relate to those crazy people you hear and read about who move their families out to the middle of nowhere, away from most civilization. But then again....our kids have to know how to face the real world, too. I'm glad my kids are grown! This stuff, I think, relates to the thread that Bob just started.
