Rolling Eyes Yes Dreams, there are plenty of African American whites right here in the U.S., they emigrated from South Africa. What would you call them! Not everybody that was born in Africa was black!

Who is this guy in the Ralph Lauren ski cap? He's assuming the black community is monolithic. What a rant. What he says may apply to some but not all.

On the other side, how many people voted for Mittens because he was white? Now that's a question too.

Do you think it's in the 90th percentile? That's a standard deviation or three from a random event... right?

Good point, however, not everyone within that stat voted for the president for the same reason any more than hopefully not every white (59% of white voters) who voted for Mittens voted for him for the reason that he was white.

We asked one of our less educated neighbors who she voted for and she replied: "The white guy." That's one reason and there are other reasons to have voted for Romney. It's the same with the black vote.

Is the guy in the video someone I should recognize like a famous person or something or just a random dude who likes to make YouTube videos? Seriously, am I suppose to know? I didn't see a name.

It's the wingnut mindset.

This black man in shades and a skull cap, who they would immediately dismiss as a parasitic moocher if they passed him on the street, is instantly bestowed with credibility and presented as an icon of wisdom because he says something which conforms to their worldview.

It's startling that they can try to pigeonhole the 90% of African-Americans who voted in their own economic self-interests as mindless, misinformed, racists, while simultaneously elevating this ridiculous Uncle Ruckus to some sort of paragon of wisdom and virtue.

Give me a break.

Think your just a little upset that a black man openly speaks about the decline and decay of the black communities, the democratic exploitation of blacks, and the blatant hypocrisy among blacks. Would you feel better if he just realized his place in the world according to democrats and just stepped back in line with all the other savages and blindly supported his democratic slave masters?

Thanks for the link. So this is just a guy with a video camera and the know how to set up his own YouTube channel. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion for sure but he paints his fellow countrymen with a very broad brush.

On the other hand, what would motivate a person black or white or 'other' to vote for Romney? All the people of races or colors other than black had their own reasons for voting for Obama. I for one didn't want to turn the country DIRECTLY over to Wall Street. At least make the crooks work a LITTLE for the right to run the country. Then there was the question of nominations to the Supreme Court which was a big issue for me.

Still, how many people ever even think of the question: How many white people voted for Romney just because he was white? Does that ever enter into the conversation? Not much but it should.

Prior to the social engineering experiment of the great society the black family unit was very strong... much like latinos.

But examining the results is uncomfortable... it feels better to pretend some service was done. That may be more racist.

Maybe if your dumb ass had watched the videos you would have heard him refer to his fellow African Americans as savages, over and over and over and over and over again. So yes savages was "HIS" word. Oh my bad I realized what I did, I said "words" not "word" didn't mean to confuse.

Repeating the hateful rhetoric of a racist makes you no less culpable for the sentiment expressed, asshat.

Really, a black guy calling his own race savages and you label him a racist. No wonder you hate that guy because you are exactly the type of assholes he is always talking about. You validate everything that guys says.

This guy's opinion holds no more weight than anybody else's. I think the reason you posted it was because you agreed with him and thought it was more effective to have a black guy spouting off.

He is FOS anyway since he refers to everyone wanting to keep their Obama phone when you know darn well it should be called a Reagan Phone if anything. That's the president who was in the White House when that bill was passed so this joker doesn't know what he's talking about. He probably got paid by some right wing group who fed him the talking points. It is so canned it obviously isn't something he came up with on his own. He's a fake in my opinion.

My question about Michael being a famous person or not was based on my curiosity about basically what gave him the background to make such comments, where was he coming from.

Posting Cosby's picture brings up another, my main point: Michael is claiming that all blacks who voted for Obama were irresponsible shiftless moochers.

Cosby, on the other hand (as near as I can remember) in his complaints or admonitions is speaking directly to that target audience. He is telling them to straighten up and fly right, to take responsibility for their lives and children. In other words he's telling them to grow up. He's not saying that his entire race is in that position. He is picking out a specific segment. He and Michael are looking down opposite ends of the telescope, if you will.

Cosby sees a group that needs changing within his race and speaks to them. Michael talks as if the entire race is a mess. To me that's a big difference.
