If you were ever lucky enough to meet Mr. Studer and chat with him without knowing him as QUINT, I think you'd like him. He must be effective or folk would not pay for his consulting.
When I was a kid, and freshly married, I took a job w/ a company that was owned by a friend of a friend of my Father. So I took the job and had a good run at it, moving forward and reaching my own Peter Principal.
The man who hired me had a MBA in Business Effieciency (?) or something related. So I kept getting promoted and then reach a point where it was more efficient to close the store I was assigned than to keep it open. I finally got it...
I was offered a quiet separation from their employment or be transfered to another store slated for closure if the numbers don't improve.
That man is now so wealthy I doubt he would know how much he has if he wasn't an Efficiency Expert. His consulting fees are absurd.
He reminds me of Mr. Studer.
The ability to make the missed point seem obvious and absolutely listen while you speak. But that's just an opinion and does not address his business with the County, etc...
