Throw out all the polls so far and see what Vegas says:
Odds To Win: On to the odds to win tomorrow's Presidential election... Since our last update, President Obama has taken a huge lead over GOP nom Mitt Romney. Just a few weeks ago we were talking about Romney getting closer to 1/1 odds but, since then Romney has dropped all the way down to 3/1 odds or +300. And with that large downward swing for Romney, Obama's election odds have shot up to 1/4 or -400. The difference? A $1 wager on Romney pays $3 ($4 total) versus a $1 wager on Obama that would pay just $.25 ($1.25 total).
Popular Vote: Bovada just released these odds earlier for President Obama's percentage of the popular vote. This is an over/under wager set at line of 50.5%. Currently, the "over" (50.51% and greater) pays 11 to 10 or +110. A single dollar wager wins $1.10 ($2.10 total). But, the "under" (50.49% and lower) is favored as indicated by the 5 to 7 odds or -140. A $1 bet for the under only wins $.71 ($1.71 total).
Electoral College Total: Also recently released is the over/under for the number of electoral votes President Obama will receive. This works exactly like the bet above except the line is set at 302.5 electoral votes (only 270 needed to win). If Obama gets 303 of the possible 538 electoral votes, the "over" wins 1 to 1 which is even money. On the "under" (302 electoral votes or less) side of the wager, the payouts are 10 to 13 (-130) or a $1 wager earns $.77, $1.77 total if the under wins.
