Uhhhhh......Pacedog......there are these things called smartphones and laptop computers that function on batteries. You can even reach the internet on these miracle devices. Truly amazing inventions....you should read up on them sometime.

As the old saying goes here in Hurricane country, be prepared to survive on your own for at least 3 days. It's good advice but those up north don't really have to deal with these types of weather events too often.
