Obama can restrict all he wants and it still won't stop the criminals from getting guns. See, they don't buy their guns at shops, gunshows, or respectful places that follow the law. They buy them on the blackmarket and nothing Obama can do will stop that. Obama's restrictions only hurt the law abiding citizens trying to protect themselves from the people who do not follow the law. Obama needs to go.

Your source doesn't even say he "wants" to restrict handguns. He wants to open a reasonable discussion about how to keep criminals from getting guns. I think we'd all like to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally deranged, but there's no way to even bring up the subject because the NRA has become so politicized and the very subject of gun control, even assault weapons, is a hot potato.

Gun control is one of the few things obama had a record on.

Come on.....give him credit....Under the COWH gun sales and ammo have been through the roof for four years!...Too bad they weren't monitored in the Fast and Furious and the Daily Killing Sprees taking place in Chicago where they have the toughest gun control in the nation....really kept the guns out of criminals hands!.....Lets hope we've only got a couple more months of this failure....he's been a lame duck for four years....
