I did like the Tigers in the play-offs.

ill take the giants just so yall have a foe to pick on after.

The tigers starting pitching is great... I just need a lead by the 7th.

Starting pitching beats almost all.

The Tigers.....I have watched them twice this year, and I have seen Verlander pitch twice. He with rest could pitch three games......San Francisco will not beat Detroit. They are the real deal......and the only shame is the Sox in my opinion were better this year....oh well.

Oh my...it's looking bad for the tigers. Never a good sign when a pitcher gets a base hit and an RBI....Zito looks great, even if he talks to himself.

Here are some interesting stats I found concerning World Series play. This is through 2011. Not sure how long the data was gathered, however a team that went up 2-0 at home has a record of .354 for game 3 and a series record of .806. So based on stats, it would seem to favor the Giants in the series to win the World Series.

However I am not very much into baseball but who wins is not really a factor to me, I just found these stats interesting.
