She has an interesting point. I think that instead of wasting money on simple signs to direct the deer where to cross, what is needed are elevated bridges for the deer to trot across the traffic much like the one in Gulf Breeze that is for schoolchildren. Of course , one must consider that with the building of these safe crossovers there will be a a deficit in the amount of road killed deer thus raising the prices in Chinese restaurants since they will have to buy more chicken, pork, and beef.
