Somewhere, Mike Pence is hiding under a bed, trembling and crying. He's going to be having night-terrors for a while. When Harris is done with him, there's going to be nothing but Mike-flavored stains on the walls and ceiling. He is soooooooooo screwed.

I'm getting pretty cracked up watching reactions to this. The Republicans are, predictably, trying to claim that she's "the most liberal person EVER!" (which is laughable, but it's all they ever have -- they ain't part of reality, these people), while the far-lefties are crying that she's too far right. The reaction is kind of the same one that Obama used to get... which means Kamala's probably just right! When the far-right hates ya and the far-left hates ya, I tend to like ya.

Kamala's the one I was hoping for, but I would have been fine with anyone Biden was looking at. He had a good bench there. O' course, Republicans would whine about any of 'em, but they don't like anything except sucking Hitler's dick nowdays, anyhow.

What are the best guesses for the excuse Hiden Biden will use to avoid live interactions... including debates?

She's going to turn Pence into a fine red mist, even if he does bring his wife/"Mother" along so his creepy pilgrim ass can be in a room with a woman.

As far as Biden/Trump goes, Biden will gaffe a bit because he always has, and Trump will repeat the dozen or so things he knows how to say over and over (and oh my fucking god OVER) again and he'll Aderall-sniffle a lot and play his little invisible accordion with his hands and do all his wanna-be-Tony-Soprano mannerisms, but in the end people will see a man who understands policy and has a lifetime of experience is stacked up against an unjustifiably-narcissistic child who doesn't even have any real policies because in almost 4 years he's managed to learn exactly nothing because he still thinks he's just making a TV show... and it's a TV show everyone's fucking sick of seeing. Even if Trump does say anything, nobody will believe it anymore because any pretense of integrity he ever had has shit the bed a long time ago, and he has nowhere to go.

And, beyond policy, good will and intelligence is going to contrast against defensive posturing, pettiness, and poor-me nasty childishness. Gaffes aside, Biden will still clean Trump's fucking clock. Ain't gone be no thang.

Now that the Democratic President-Vice President ticket is set, and Vice President Biden with Senator Harris are going to be the Democratic ticket on the November ballot, I figured now is a good time to remind everyone that You're not just voting for President.

1. You're voting to prevent a 7-2 dangerous conservative majority on the Supreme Court. Note: 87 year old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is single-handedly fighting off all 10 plagues so she can hang on until we get rid of the people who gave us Kavenaugh and Gorsuch.
2. You're voting for the next Secretary of Education, Housing Secretary and Attorney General.
3. You're voting to replace deVos as Secretary of Education and Louis deJoy as Postmaster General. Both of these folks own interests directly conflicting with the Departments they run.
4. You are voting for the "down" ballot, as well......to keep the House and to gain majority of the Senate in Congress.
5. You're voting for federal judges.
6. You're voting for the rule of law.
7. You're voting for saving national parks.
8. You're voting for letting kids out of cages.
9. You're voting for clean air and clean water.
10. You're voting for scientists to be allowed to speak and do something to protect us from climate change and pandemics.
11. You're voting for greater transparency and confidence that the President isn't using your tax dollars as a slush fund for his family and friends.

Obviously, we can't all agree on everything. Now, this is a two candidate race between Vice President Biden and the other. Those are our only choices. One of them will be our President as a result of this election. The Biden-Harris ticket isn't perfect. No ticket ever was and no ticket ever will be. Perhaps, for whatever reason, Vice President Biden and/or Senator Harris don't pass your purity test. Just know this, they will be much better than four more years of the current mess.
