The very reason that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were both elected president is that their campaigns refused to give up on the South. Howard Dean had a huge group of Southern supporters before he left the race in 2004. Fox people are Southerners and mid-Westerners and some of them can be picked off.
Ms Warren has a chance to show fox Voters that she's not the total nutcase the network has been portraying her as for years. If she's good enough, she might make a tiny little crack in that seam.
What she's doing is telegraphing that she's either scared to go or she thinks she's too good to speak to that audience. They already think that about Democrats-we're all a bunch of elitists.
I think she's wrong.
She says she's running a campaign to "reach all Americans." No, she's not. She's running away from Fox viewers and they see that.
They think she's scared to come on because the Fox interviewers would make a fool out of her democratic, elitist beliefs.
She should go on there and squash them like bugs every time they tell a lie. That's how you go after the votes of all Americans.
I'll betcha AOC would go on Fox if they asked her to.
They wouldn't dare.

Elizabeth Warren is exactly right to refuse to give credibility and provide cover to their ridiculous claims of "fair and balanced" coverage, and to refuse to participate in their despicable business model of "hate for profit".
And, she's certainly not hiding from red state voters - her first two open town halls were in West Virginia and Ohio for gawd's sake.
It's called taking a principled stand.
Kudos, Senator Warren.

Yep. All those Bernie Supporters that took a principled stand back in 2016 by refusing to go to the polls sure did this country a lot of good, didn't they?
And all those principled Jill Stein voters.
Ohio and West Virginia ain't Tennessee or Georgia.
Those are places she might make a difference by going onto Fox News and making a fool out of their anchors. CNN and MSNBC split their viewership with ABC and CBS and all the other networks out there that broadcast news. FYI, Pkr, the majority of Americans do NOT favor Fox news. They watch one of the other networks-you know, the fake news ones.
If Donna Brazille isn't afraid of Fox, Elizabeth Warren shouldn't be.
Oh, that's right. She isn't Donna Brazille.
bigdog wrote:BTW, Bernie Sanders is also willing to go on Fox for a town hall. What's the name for a man whore? Several other candidates have also said they are willing to do so, all whores, I guess.
Only Elizabeth Warren is pure, I suppose. I'm not surprised she's the one. She's always reminded me of the church lady on SNL.
bigdog wrote:Oh, I understand. Ms Warren doesn't want to add to the Fox ratings by going on their evil network.
She's willing to give up on a chance to win over voters who may have voted for Obama and then for Trump in order to keep Fox from having one good night of ratings.
Her purity may possibly cost the Dems votes in 2020.
That's what I know and it's what I care about. It's way too important to get Donald Trump out of office. I'd swear an oath to the very Satan I don't believe exists in order to see that happen. Little Liz could show up on a stage and tell people what she believes. Or how about this, she can stay home. Let everybody else go and debate without her. That works for me too.

Your psychology makes no sense at all.

The guy's got guts. He's talking about student loans and a lot of topics that not just Democrats care about. More power to him.
I won't vote for him, but I do admire him.
