This is not fair. Joe does not even pretend he has to be polite. If Obama had simply used Malarky instead of lies....and had Joe's smile. I actually think Ryan is doing very well but nobody can defend these policies....and he knows that. I actually feel sorry for him being connected to Romney. They lying just needs to stop, and Joe is not going to let the BS flow.

I would like to hear what Ryan says and Joe keeps butting in. The moderator has no control. I don't agree with Ryan but I would like to hear what he has to say.

Guest

Guest

We won't hear what he can say because Joe has had 6 butt ins and then the mod lets Biden make his point which is a lie.

The numbers Biden gave are golden....period, and I will await anybody to prove otherwise. Does any American have any doubt that this is insanity.....5 trillion 20% tax cut and they want big bipartisan agreements, what total Bull......It really cannot be this easy. The campaign is over. Even the low wattage people understand this math does not work.

PSSSSSSSST that is the air releasing out of pace's balloon.....these debates do not mean a thing....but the concepts.....yep people are starting to understand.....

Ryan is getting the opportunity to talk as well, he's just over his head here.

Laughing is an automatic reaction....Joe does have low emotion control....and I must admit, I was laughing also......You can only call someone a liar so many times.....if someone is making a fool of themselves you laugh....it is disrespectful, and really should not be done as a debate technique....it is wrong. However, this lying has just got to stop....and I think tonight it has been stomped by Joe......

I just received an email from Medicare rights and the Kaiser foundation supported what Joe said about Medicare by raising it to age 67 would increase health care cost, not just for the seniors having to wait two years but they would be in the health insurance exchanges and therefore raising premiums for younger people in the exchanges to cover the sick 65 and 66 year olds.

Ryans closing statements are lies. Health care has gone up a little in the past year but not by what he quoted. Now on the other hand the premiums probably will go up after Jan 1, 2014, but let's stay with that year and not BS about the past year.

Overall Joe won this lively debate. Why? Because the facts were not on Ryan's side even though he's a nice kid.

it's the old "mark up/discount" sale... if the cost is huge it's best to use the smallest measurement possible or use enough variable so as to convolute the entire equation. if there are savings it's best to use the largest increments possible... ten/twenty/thirty years... not to exclude "adjustments and projections" if they pad the numbers.

Yes, Biden won it because he was credible. I especially liked whenhe spoke about the Afgans and us training them and then us getting the hell out. Ryan wants to keep us there and lose more lives. It simply is not our responsibility anymore.

Biden had this right from the beginning on Afghanistan and wanted surgical strikes and not boots on the ground....and people in both parties thought he was wrong....he was right. The guy is who he is.....Ryan is smart young guy, and I like him ten fold over the POS from Virgina Eric Cantor, but the problem is he is joined at the hip with Mitt Romney, and he has to put revenue on the table, and Ronald Reagan did give specifics.....

Bottom line.....who cares who won.....did the American people learn a bit more on what the two parties on the issues stand. I think they did a much better job tonight letting us know where they stand. A good debate, again poorly moderated, and really bad precedents on bad behavior of Biden today, and Romney on the Presidential debate.

This is simple stuff and the lying has to stop. The truth was revealed today.

I think Ryan came off as the fabricator he is. They blamed Obama for the embassy fiasco and they refused extra security? Wow! Just wow!

what if the equation were permeable... that the truth ain't pretty... that no matter what they said we would stay this course?

when exactly would we care? why are they rioting in europe? what really drove the arab spring? who will sacrifice? isn't that what collectivism ultimately asks?

you don't see very far.

Yes, it was revealed and I am particularly incensed about the repugs and this embassy thing. They're gone on and on about how the President didn't protect those people and then to find out they asked for more security and the very people who blame him refused the security? It's despicable!

I have to say.....a 300 million dollar cut in embassy security.....Biden hit a home run, and the truth started to get communicated to the American public. The math simply does not work and the Romney lies are just getting old. I heard him say he never said he was going to cut taxes on the top 1%. Yet, I am now seeing the video during the Republican debates where he said he would cut everybody's tax rate by 20% and then with emphasis said he would also cut the top 1%. The man has been rewarded his whole life cheating and lying. You do not get 100 million in your qualified plan without cheating, and as long as he gets rewarded for the same, there is no way to stop a sociopath without booting him from our system....and that is clearly coming in a few weeks. I never felt so good as voting for Johnson, knowing that I would never give a vote to the sociopath who could destroy this country.....and never even realize or care that America was strapped to the top of his car.
