I am hoping they have discovered what is causing the fluctuations in your sugar levels. My daughter has lupus and autoimmune diseases are the new curse on modern society......I have a good friend who the doctors are telling him he has an autoimmune disease, but they have no clue.

The rise in the blood sugar was a direct result of the steroids I had injected that day in the OR. I knew my sugar would rise but had no idea it would go that high. I am thankful for the headache... it woke me up. Too easy to slip into a coma with a Sugar of 600. Mine was just over 500.

The auto immune disorders are complex. Vikingwoman was surprised I had type II diabetes but was aware of the Celiac disorder. Celiac can cause type II diabetes. I also have the non alcoholic liver disorder...another auto immune disorder.

I am feeling much better and the sugar levels are slowing getting back to normal for me.
